I am on a mission to create a new series of whimsical and uplifting paintings aimed at bringing your inner child alive with joy. My exciting new ‘Wonder’ collection is inspired by the ever changing beauty of the sky, and each colourful piece will include an element of magic to inspire imagination in children, and memories of child-like wonder in adults.
Do you remember being a child and just looking up at the sky and seeing a whole world of make believe above your head? Or laying on your back in the grass on a sunny day and seeing a rocket ship shooting across the sky in a fantasy land made of clouds? That’s the sense of infinite possibility and joy I want to capture and bring to your homes with my colourful Wonder collection.
This collection is to celebrate the beauty of the sky and remind us there is magic to be found everywhere around us. You just have to use your imagination, and that’s a really wonderful gift we all have. I want the happiness and sense of wonder I feel when I look at the sky to transcend to those who view my work and simply make people happy. The inspiration I get from the sky is infinite and I’m so passionate about painting it!
Using a mixture of acrylic paint, ink, and shimmering pearlised powders and paints, the Wonder collection is both eye catching and dreamy. My brush strokes are expressive and filled with emotion and I want my passion for depicting the magic of the sky to be undeniable. I want this whimsical collection to appeal to the child within us all, and the subtle shimmery highlights I embellish my work with will catch your eye in different levels of light.
