Beauty in the simple things
Shifting gear a bit towards more abstract pieces…sometimes it’s fun to paint the colours and shapes that you see when you blur your eyes and let go of the need to create something realistic ☺ Does anybody else think that dandelions are beautiful?

Where Do You Find Peace?
There is something about a beautiful tree at a riverside with the sunshine dancing though the leaves. I can’t explain how beautiful I find it. It is one of the places that makes me feel most peaceful. So I have started to paint my favourite place. This is where I am so far. What makes you feel peaceful?
Secrets and creative expression
This is what I’m working on right now. I’ve been commissioned to paint a wedding present to the future bride and groom. It’s always an honour to be asked to paint something meaningful for people, but there’s also the added pressure that you don’t capture their essence when painting a portrait. I’m afraid I can’t show you their faces just yet, it’s a surprise. Have a beautiful weekend and stay creative 💕
Imagination is everything
Sometimes it’s incredibly freeing just to paint with no idea what you’re painting. I simply put a few of my favourite colours on my palette and started to paint. I didn’t plan, I didn’t think, I didn’t judge, I just painted. I don’t really know where this is going but it’s fun waiting to find out.
